DJ S.K.T

Stephen Kenny Tempest, known professionally as DJ S.K.T, was born in the United Kingdom and began performing as a DJ at the age of twelve. His early competitions, including the Technics DMC Under‑18 Battle where he placed fourth nationally, established his reputation within the underground scene. DJ S.K.T released his first single "The Revolution" on 1  October, 2012, followed by "Signature Sounds" and "Other Island" in 2013, and Running in 2014, each showcasing his evolving house and tech‑house style. The single "Take  Me  Away" in 2015 reached number 19 on the UK Singles Chart, marking his first chart success. In 2018 he issued the compilation Pure Tech House – Mixed By DJ S.K.T, which topped the iTunes Dance chart. Subsequent releases, including "Ballers" in 2019 and "Certi (Move Your Body)" in 2019, achieved high positions on Beatport and were added to major radio playlists. In 2020 he collaborated with vocalist Jem Cooke on "Round & Round (Boomerang)", which earned Radio 1 “Tune of the Week” status. DJ S.K.T’s career has been highlighted by regular residencies on Kiss FM and appearances at prominent clubs such as Ministry of Sound, Ibiza Rocks, and Eden.
