Die Form is a French electronic and industrial music group founded in 1977 by Philippe Fichot. The band's early works included the albums Die Puppe (1982) and Some Experiences With Shock (1984). Ãliane P., Fichotâs life partner, later joined the group. Die Form released several notable albums throughout the 1980s and 1990s, including Poupée Mécanique in 1988, which featured a more commercial sound, and the melodic and experimental Photogrammes in 1989. The band's live performances evolved significantly over the years, transitioning from brutal and violent shows to more theatrical presentations inspired by Butoh dance. Die Form has performed at several festivals, including the Wave Gotik Treffen and the Leipzig Bach Festival.
