Detektivbyrån

Detektivbyrån, a Swedish folk and electronic music group, was formed in 2005 by Anders "Flanderz" Molin, Martin "MacGyver" Molin, and Jon Nils Emanuel Ekström. The band's unique instrumentation, including the accordion and glockenspiel, was inspired by the film Amélie and traditional music from Värmland. Their first release was the EP Hemvägen (2006), followed by their debut album E18 Album (2007) and Wermland (2008). In 2009, the band was nominated for two Grammis Awards for the categories Newcomer of the Year and Folk Music of the Year. Detektivbyrån also contributed to the soundtrack of the American film Tenure. In August 2010, the group announced their disbandment and ceased creating music under that name.
