Destin Conrad

Destin Conrad is an American R&B singer and songwriter born in Tampa, Florida, on June 25, 2000. He first built a following as a teenager on the social media Vine, where his short comedy videos and singing clips gained him more than a million followers before the platform shut down in 2017. After relocating to Los Angeles, he began focusing on music and songwriting, collaborating with artists such as Kehlani, for whom he co-wrote tracks on her 2020 album It Was Good Until It Wasn’t. In March 2021, he released his debut project, Colorway, a nine-track collection that introduced his warm, sultry vocal style and contemporary R&B sound blending neo-soul, alternative textures, and sensual lyricism. He followed it with the 2022 mixtape Satin, further exploring intimate themes with smooth production, and in 2023 returned with Submissive, which reinforced his reputation as one of the promising new voices in alternative R&B, followed by Submissive2 in 2024. On August 28, 2025, he surprised listeners by releasing wHIMSY, an alternative jazz album of 11 tracks exploring jazz textures and featuring artists such as Terrace Martin, James Fauntleroy, Keyon Harrold, Vanisha Gould, and Ambré.
