D'EspairsRay, a Japanese rock band, was formed on September 9, 1999. The group initially gained traction with their debut maxi-single Kumo, released in October 2000, and followed it up with another maxi-single, Genwaku, in April 2001. Their first mini-album, -TERRORS-, was released in July 2001. The band's early success included notable performances such as the Sixth Terror concert at Takadanobaba Area in August 2001 and their Tour Mania Theater tour in February 2002. D'EspairsRay continued to release significant works, including the maxi-single "Sexual Beast" in June 2002 and "MaVERiCK" in February 2003. Their first studio album, Coll:set, was released in June 2005, reaching number 97 on the Oricon chart. The band's subsequent albums included Mirror in April 2007, REDEEMER in March 2009, and Final Call in September 2009. Notable singles from this period include "Squall" (March 2007) and "Love Is Dead" (April 2010). The band also undertook several tours, including the Wollust Ward dem Wurm Gegeben European tour in October 2004 and the Psychedelic Parade tour in March-May 2009. D'EspairsRay disbanded on June 15, 2011.
