Dermot Kennedy

Dermot Joseph Kennedy, born in Rathcoole (County Dublin, Ireland) on December 13, 1991, learned to play guitar at the age of ten, and began composing and performing as a teenager. Following his first successes with the independent album Dermot Kennedy (January 2019), ranked #5 in Ireland, the pop and rock singer-songwriter toured the United States and saw his song "Power Over Me" reach #10 in his country (#21 in the US rock charts). Signed to Interscope Records, he works on a second album, Without Fear (October 2019), heralded by the singles "Lost" (#26) and "Outnumbered" (#3 in Ireland, #69 in the UK). It gives Dermot Kennedy his first No.1 in Ireland and the UK, while the record climbs to No.18 on the US Billboard charts. With Sonder, his second album released in 2022, the singer did equally well locally, topping both the Irish and English charts. It also climbed to number 74 in the US charts.
