Deleyaman

Deleyaman, a French-American alternative music group from Normandy, France, was formed in 2000 by Aret Madilian, Béatrice Valantin, and Gérard Madilian. Known for integrating the traditional Armenian wind instrument, the duduk, into their rock lineup, Deleyaman released their debut album 00/1 in September 2001 on Éditions Nech Records. Subsequent albums included Second (2003) and 3 (2006). The group collaborated with actress Fanny Ardant, contributing songs "Battlefield" and "Black Rainbow" to her film Le Divan de Staline. In 2014, their album The Edge was highlighted by Der Spiegel. Deleyaman released their ninth studio album, The Sudbury Inn, in June 2023.
