Deaf School, an English art rock/new wave band, was formed in Liverpool in January 1974 by students and staff at Liverpool Art College. Their breakthrough came when they captured the attention of Derek Taylor, securing a record deal with Warner Brothers. The band released three albums between 1976 and 1978: 2nd Honeymoon, Don't Stop The World, and English Boys/Working Girls. Notable members included guitarist Clive Langer, who later produced for Madness and Dexys Midnight Runners, and vocalist Bette Bright. Later releases include Laundrette (2015) and Let's Do This Again Next Week (2017).
