Day26

Day26 was formed in August 2007 in the United States by Sean “Diddy” Combs from the finale of Making the Band 4, selecting Robert Curry, Brian Angel, Willie Taylor, Qwanell Mosley, and Michael McCluney. The group’s debut single "Got Me Going" was released in January 2008 and peaked at Number 79 on the Billboard Hot 100, followed by the self‑titled album Day26 on March 25, 2008, which debuted at Number one on the Billboard 200 with 190,000 copies sold in the first week. Their second single "Since You've Been Gone" reached Number 52 on the Billboard R&B/Hip‑Hop chart. In April 2009 the group issued their second studio album Forever in a Day, which also topped the Billboard 200, and they supported it with the Making the Band 4 – The Tour alongside Danity Kane and Donnie Klang. A single release in November 2011, "Made Love Lately", marked a brief return before the group announced a breakup in July 2012. After a series of reunions, the group released the independently distributed album Day Ones in late 2024, followed by a promotional tour in early 2025. Day26’s early success earned a BET Award for Best Group in 2009 and a nomination for Favorite R&B/Hip‑Hop Band Duo or Group at the 2009 American Music Awards.
