Dawes

Dawes is an American folk rock band from Los Angeles, California. They shifted their sound from indie rock to folk rock after emerging from the band Simon Dawes following Blake Mills' departure. Dawes released their debut album North Hills (2009). They joined informal jam sessions with artists like Conor Oberst and Chris Robinson, and made their television debut on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson in 2010. Their second album Nothing Is Wrong (2011) was released, followed by their fifth album We're All Gonna Die (2016), which marked a stylistic shift with more synthesized sounds. They released the album Oh Brother (2024).
