Darhyl Camper

Rap and R&B producer and songwriter Darhyl Camper, Jr. is also known as DJ Camper and Camper. Born in Atlantic City, New Jersey, on May 25, 1990, he learned to play the piano at the age of six and made a name for himself as a producer in 2011, for Big Sean's chart-topping single "Marvin & Chardonnay". Nominated for a Grammy Award for his collaboration with Elle Varner on "Refill", Camper also works with Keshia Cole, Trey Songz, Tamar Braxton, John Legend, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown, Lalah Hathaway, Ne-Yo, H.E.R., Jessie J, Brandy, Doja Cat, Kehlani and Flo. In 2020, he appeared with his first solo single, "Grip", followed by "Sleep" with Brandy, then "Hbd " in 2022 and "I Need It" with Syd & Tank in 2024. After another collaboration, with Ari Lennox and Jeremih on "War", his duet with Tone Stith on "Waiting on You" reached number 24 in the Radio Adult R&B charts in 2025.
