Dalvin La Melodia

Dalvin La Melodía is the stage name of Dominican bachata singer and songwriter Dalvin Antonio Núñez Vargas, who was born in 2003 in Santo Domingo and first sang in his local church choir alongside his father while studying at Escuela Básica Mi Bandera, holding jobs as a corner-store delivery worker, shoeshiner and taxi driver before entering the music industry. His career took a professional turn in early 2024 when he met guitarist, arranger and producer Michael Quevedo (Mikey Touch), who assembled a team around him and produced his first studio recordings, including the tribute single “Pensando en ella,” dedicated to the late bachata singer Yoskar Sarante, and “Por ti,” his first fully original single released on digital platforms. Later in 2024 he issued “Mi Reina” (distributed on streaming services under the title “My Queen”), written by Martín Aquino and arranged by Wilson Quevedo and Mikey Touch, which accumulated more than 20 million views within its first year and became his signature hit in the Dominican Republic and among bachata audiences abroad. Building on that momentum, in 2025 Dalvin La Melodía released a string of singles including “Tesoro Perdido,” “Ya Me Enteré (En Vivo)” and the covers “Te Lo Agradezco (Cover)” and “Chiquilla Bonita (Cover),” the latter a bachata adaptation of the Marco Antonio Solís classic that became one of the most-played songs on Dominican radio and streaming playlists. That same year he appeared as a featured vocalist alongside El Chaval De La Bachata on the single “Antes y Después,” consolidating his reputation as a new bachata voice emerging from Santo Domingo’s working-class neighborhoods.
