Cynthia

Cynthia Torres, known professionally as Cynthia, was born on May 6, 1968, in the United States of America. She is a Puerto Rican-American singer specializing in freestyle and dance-pop music. Cynthia's career began with her debut album Cynthia released by Micmac Records in October 1990. Her breakthrough came with the release of "Dreamboy/Dreamgirl" featuring Johnny O, which peaked at number 53 on the Billboard Hot 100. Following this success, she released several notable singles including "Break Up to Make Up" and "If I Had the Chance", which reached numbers 70 and 83 on the same chart respectively. Throughout her career, Cynthia released multiple albums including Cynthia II in July 1991, All the Hits and More! in April 1995, and Thinking About You in June 1999. In 2005, she collaborated with Lisette Melendez on the duet "I Can't Change Your Mind". Cynthia's discography also includes compilations such as The Remixes, released in 1993, and Cynthia II (Deluxe Edition), released in August 2011. She returned with Starlight (EP) from November 2016.
