Corrinne May

Corrinne Foo May Ying, known professionally as Corrinne May, was born on January 19, 1973, in Singapore. May is a singer-songwriter who graduated from the Berklee College of Music in Boston and began a career in Los Angeles. The debut album, Fly Away (2001), includes collaborations with Carole King and Carole Bayer Sager on the song “If You Didn't Love Me” (2001). Subsequent albums include Safe in a Crazy World (2005), The Gift (2006), Beautiful Seed (2007), and Crooked Lines (2012). The song “Beautiful Life” (2012) earned an award for top local English pop song at the 19th Annual Compass Awards in 2014.
