Connie Victoria Elizabeth Talbot, born 20 November 2000 in the United Kingdom, is a British pop singer whose early exposure came from a televised talent show. She entered Britainâs Got Talent in 2007, reaching the final and earning the runner-up position; the exposure led to a recording contract with Rainbow Recording Company. Her debut album, Over the Rainbow, was issued in 2007, sold over 250,000 copies worldwide, and reached Number 1 in several countries. In 2008 she released the album Connie Talbotâs Christmas Album, followed by Holiday Magic in 2009, and Beautiful Worldin 2012. After a brief period of independent releases, she signed with Evosound and issued the album Matters to Me in 2016. The artist continued to contribute to charity projects and appeared on Britainâs Got Talent: The Champions (2019) and Americaâs Got Talent: The Champions (2020), releasing the single âNever Give Up on Usâ in 2019, which reached number 21 on the UK Singles Sales Chart. In 2023 she issued the EP Growing Pains, featuring the songs âEasier Pretending Youâre Deadâ and âGrowing Painsâ. Talbotâs career is marked by early chart success, international touring, and ongoing collaborations with artists such as Boyce Avenue.
