CMAT

Born Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson on 23 February 1996 in Dubin, Ireland, CMAT is an award-winning Irish singer with a unique handle on country, folk, pop, rock and humour. She released her debut album If My Wife New I'd Be Dead in February 2022 and claimed the top spot on the Irish Albums Chart while also winning Ireland's Choice Music Prize for Album of the Year. The LP yielded a hit single in "Peter Bogdanovich," which went to number 20 on the Irish Homegrown Top 20. She released the critically acclaimed follow-up Crazymad, for Me in October 2023, which featured a guest appearance from John Grant on "Where Are Your Kids Tonight?" and was produced by Norwegian producer Matias Tellez. Honored by an Ivor Novello Award in 2024, CMAT followed with her third full-length Euro-Country (2025), featuring the lead single « Running/Planning », « Take a Sexy Picture of Me », « The Jamie Oliver Petrol Station », and the title track, ranked Number 9 in Ireland. In June 2025, CMAT performed at the Glastonbury Festival.
