Clean Cut Kid

Clean Cut Kid, an English indie pop rock band from Liverpool, was formed in 2014 when Mike Halls and Evelyn Halls began writing music together after being set up on a blind date. They recruited bassist Saul Godman and drummer Ross Higginson to complete the lineup. Their debut single "Vitamin C" was released through Babe Magnet/Polydor in June 2015, garnering praise from various music publications. In September 2016, they released their first EP We Used to Be In Love. The band's debut album Felt was released on May 5, 2017. They embarked on extensive tours, playing 91 shows and 31 festivals across five countries in 2016 alone. Notable support slots include performances with The Courteeners, The Kooks, Michael Kiwanuka, The Killers, and Circa Waves. In October 2017, bassist Saul Godman left the band and was repleaced by Gareth Bullock. Clean Cut Kid followed up with albums Painwave (2019), Mother's Milk (2021), Hiss (2022), A Crisis of Faith at the Death of a Loved One (2023), and Seven Sounds, Forever (2025).
