CiON

CiON is a Japanese girl group known for blending idol pop with brass instrumentation to create a distinctive and dynamic musical style. Formed in 2017 following an audition of approximately 2,800 applicants, the group originally debuted under the name C;ON Girls Music Department. Over time, lineup changes led to the current five-member formation featuring AIKA, SHION, SEINA, KAKO, and AMI. The group's name, CiON, stands for CORE, IMPRESSION, and ON—symbolizing their mission to be at the heart of music, consistently delivering moving performances that resonate with audiences. From 2016 to 2018, they were managed by NY Agency, later moving to KEN’s Family in 2019 and then to Toil & Moil in May 2023. On October 1, 2024, the group officially changed its name spelling from C;ON to CiON. On April 16, 2025, they made their major-label debut with the single "Shimasyo", released through avex. The second single, ”Cinderella", was released on January 21, 2026.
