Chudahye Chagis is a four-member Korean psychedelic shamanic funk band led by Chu Dahye, a sorikkun (traditional Korean singer) whose voice embodies the spirit of Korean folk music. The band includes Lee Si-mun on guitar, Kim Jae-ho on bass, and Kim Da-vin on drums. Their unique sound combines ancient Muga (shamanic songs and chants from North Korea's Pyeong’an and Hwanghae Provinces, and Jeju) with elements of reggae, jazz, hip-hop, funk, dance, and rock. This innovative fusion has gained them wide acclaim, including the 2021 Best R&B/Soul Song award at the 18th Korean Music Awards. They debuted in 2020 with the album Underneath the Dangsan Tree Tonight and in June 2025 released their second full album, SOSUMINJOK, with the track "Heosse!" ranking 50 on Melon’s Top 500 chart just two days after release.
