Hardy Schwetter, also known as Christian Steiffen, born on April 24, 1971, in Georgsmarienhütte, Germany, is a musician and actor. He trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre School in New York from 1993 to 1995. Schwetter's music career began as the frontman of an Elvis tribute band, Hardy and the Hardons, active from 2001 to 2010. Since 2009, he has been active as a pop singer under the pseudonym Christian Steiffen. His debut EP Ich Hab' Die Ganze Nacht Von Mir Geträumt was released in 2012. In 2013, he released his first full-length album, Arbeiter der Liebe. The song "Sexualverkehr" from this album was featured in the film Winterkartoffelknödel, part of the Eberhoferkrimi series. Schwetter's second album, Ferien vom Rock'n Roll, was released in 2015, and the track "Ein Leben lang", which appeared in the end credits of the film Kaiserschmarrndrama.
