Chris Abolade

Norwegian rapper and singer Chris Abolade, whose full name is Chris Albert Ofori Abolade, was born in Oslo on July 13, 1993. He got his start in the group Broslo and worked as a photographer, before devoting himself to music. After a debut track "Mandag" released in 2017,Chris Abolade aka Abbo oscillates between urban pop and danceable pop rap through his collaborations with Amara on the album Skrubbsar og Skallebank (2021) and his singles. In 2018, released under the name Abbo 93, the track "Tranquilo" reached No. 12 in Norway and heralded other hits such as "Sorry, jeg har pult en annen" (No. 9 in 2023) and "Kåmon" with the Roc Boyz group, which reached No. 7 the same year. After the EPs Christiania Brenner (2019), Ego (2020) and Skallebank (2021), a new collaboration with Amara, Chris Abolade sings on Broiler's hit "Stemmene i hodet" at no. 16 in 2025.
