Chico y Chica is a Spanish pop duo formed in the late 1990s by José Luis Rebollo and Alicia San Juan. Associated with the independent label Austrohúngaro, the group became known for its witty, danceable approach to synth-pop and indie pop. Their discography includes albums such as Status (2004) and Rapsodia de los estudiosos (2012), along with EPs and singles like Bomba Latina (2007) and "La joven investigadora" (2011). In 2019, the group participated in the tribute for the 30th anniversary of Mecano's album Descanso dominical, performing a version of "Fábula".
