Cheryl Glasgow

British singer Cherly Glasgow is best known for her hit "Glued to the Spot", a jazz and funk-flavored track released in 1986 on Ross Anderson's short-lived Live Records label. The track, included in a three-version EP, follows an earlier track by the singer, "Even Now (I Need You)", released in 1984. In 2025, the Numero Group label, which specializes in exhuming recordings that have fallen under the commercial radar, reissued the maxi "Glued to the Spot", no longer with the white sleeve designed at the time, but a reproduction of a Mondrian painting, with an inlay photo of the singer. The track reached number 94 in the British charts.
