Cheon Dan-bi, born on April 27, 1986, is a Korean singer who debuted in 2017 with the single "A Lie in Spring." She is widely recognized as the second-place winner on Super Star K 7 in 2015. Before participating in the audition show, she worked as a vocal trainer at an entertainment agency and started singing in choruses at age 19. She is a disciple of Sohn Moo-hyun, a renowned guitarist and songwriter, and has an impressive 12-year career as a chorus session singer, performing with renowned artists like Lee Seon-hee, Shin Seung-hun, Park Hyo-shin, Kim Yeon-woo, and appearing on music programs such as I Am a Singer, Yoo Hee-yeol's Sketchbook, and Immortal Songs. At an audition, judges noted her talent and said, "There’s probably no singer in Korea she hasn’t worked with," and K.Will, a very popular K-ballad singer, praised her as a friend "too talented to just be a chorus singer." Jaehyung Jung, famous Korean songwriter, commented on her extensive experience over the 12 years on Immortal Songs. She started teaching applied music at Sangmyeong University in 2013, the same year she released her first full album, My Universe. Besides her album, she has released nine solo singles, including "Dreamy Romance" (2021), "Fly Away" (2021), and "A Way to Farewell" (2018). She is also very active in OSTs, participating in over a dozen Korean drama soundtracks, notably Graceful Family (2019) and Sky Castle (2018). Her collaboration single "You Don’t Know What To Do" with Soulman, released on April 9, 2025, immediately hit number 9 on Melon's Top 500 chart on the day of its release.
