Charlotte Mary O'Connor, known professionally as Charlotte OC, is a British singer-songwriter born in 1990 in Blackburn, Lancashire, England. O'Connor began playing the guitar at age 15 and became a global ambassador for surfwear brand Quiksilver at 16. O'Connor's music career started with the debut single "Treasure Island" (2011), followed by the first album For Kenny (2011). O'Connor signed with Columbia Records at age 18 but was later dropped. In 2013, O'Connor released a first EP under Stranger Records, Colour My Heart (2013). The album Careless People (2017) was released with Polydor Records and featured the singles "Darkest Hour" (2016) and "Blackout" (2016). In 2020, O'Connor released the EP Oh the Agony, Oh the Ecstasy (2020). Other notable releases include the album Here Comes Trouble (2021).
