Charlotte Diamond, born July 31, 1945 in Vancouver, British Columbia, is a Canadian singer known for her children's music. She graduated from North Delta Secondary School and the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Secondary Education. Diamond began her career as a teacher before transitioning into music. Her breakthrough came with the release of 10 Carrot Diamond in 1985, which won the Juno Award for Best Children's Album. Notable songs from her discography include "Four Hugs a Day" and "I Am a Pizza." She has recorded multiple albums, including Qu'il Y Ait Toujours Le Soleil, The Christmas Gift, and Diamond In The Rough. Diamond is trilingual and has performed songs in Spanish, French, and American Sign Language. In 2016, she became a part of the Member of the Order of Canada for her contributions to children's entertainment.
