Chai Vdvoem

Chai Vdvoem, a Russian music group formed in 1994 by composer and singer Denis Ilitch Klyaver and poet and singer Stanislav Mikaïlovitch Kostyoukine. The duo began their musical journey while studying at the Conservatoire of Saint-Pétersbourg and the Moussorgski School of Music respectively. Their early career included participating in various music competitions, such as the Victor Reznikov contest and Yalta-Moscou-Transit. Chai Vdvoem gained significant traction through collaborations with notable artists like Laïma Vaïkula, which led to spectacular concerts and increased popularity. Notable songs include "Ласковая моя" (1997) and "Чтобы ты была моя" (2003), both of which won the Golden Gramophone Award. The group disbanded in 2012, with Denis Ilitch Klyaver pursuing a solo career and Stanislav Mikaïlovitch Kostyoukine launching his project A-Dessa.
