Chadia RodrÃguez (born on November 6th, 1998) is an Italian rapper of Spanish and Moroccan origins. Known for being one of the first female trap artists in Italy, RodrÃguez moved to Turin with her family while she was still a child and eventually pursued a career in female football. After an injury left her unable to play, she decided to focus on her music career influenced by female rappers like Cardi B and Nicki Minaj. Shortly after the release of her debut single, âDaleâ in 2018, RodrÃguez caught the attention of Sony Music, who decided to offer her a record deal. After releasing the singles âFumo biancoâ and âBitch 2.0,â she published Avere 20 anni (2019), an EP that collected all of her previous singles, plus a couple of unreleased tracks. That same year, she was the headliner of the MI AMI XXX festival, held in Milanâs District 272. By the turn of the decade, RodrÃguez released the single âLa voce di Chadia,â inspired by the TV series Narcos, and âBella così,â a collaboration with Italian singer-songwriter Federica Carta whose heartfelt lyrics tackled body shaming and cyberbullying.
