Centrozoon, a German electronic improvisational music group, was formed in 1996 by Markus Reuter and Bernhard Wöstheinrich. Reuter, initially trained as a pianist and later switching to touch guitar, met Wöstheinrich, an experimental electronic musician. Their debut album, Blast, released on DiN Recordings in 1999, showcased their ambient and improvisational style. In 2001, they released Sun Lounge Debris on Burning Shed, followed by the EP "The Divine Beast" later that year. The group's sound evolved with each release, incorporating elements of electronica, progressive rock, and IDM. Notable albums include The Cult Of: Bibbiboo (2002) and Boner (2012). Centrozoon collaborated with various artists, including Tim Bowness and Pat Mastelotto, and released several EPs and singles, such as "The Divine Beast" in 2001.
