Catuaba com Amendoim, a Brazilian forró music group, was formed in 1996. The ensemble quickly gained traction with their debut album O Tesão do Forró (1997). This initial success was followed by several notable releases, including Canta Teixeirinha (1998), Duplo Sentido (1999), and Cartinha de Amor (2000). One of their biggest hits was the song "Saga de Um Vaqueiro" performed by singer Neto Rapariga. Catuaba com Amendoim has been recognized for their contributions to the forró genre, blending traditional elements with modern influences. The band disbanded in 2018 but resumed its activities in 2022.
