Catherine Wong In, born on 4â¯Aprilâ¯1992 in Hongâ¯Kong, emerged from a background that combined a university education in journalism with selfâtaught guitar skills and streetâperformance experience. After winning the 2017 âMusic Big Kidâ competition hosted by Emperor Entertainment Group, Catherine Wong In was signed by Sony Music Entertainment Hongâ¯Kong and released her debut studio album é»å¦èªª on 2â¯Augustâ¯2019, which included the fourâlanguage singles "How to Survive Summers" and "Lost Smile". The following month she staged her first solo concert, é»å¦èªªé³æ¨æ, at the Kowloon Bay International Expo Centre. In 2021, she issued ä¹éçè·¡ and produced chartâtopping tracks such as "Before Dawn" and "Lighten Up", the latter securing the silver award for Female Artist at the 2021 Commercial Radio Hongâ¯Kong Top 10 Awards. Her 2023 live album Blooming Underwater Live 2023 and the concept EP 4891 showcased literary inspirations, while the single "æ¥å æ¼ç½" earned a nomination for Best Original Film Song at the 42nd Hongâ¯Kong Film Awards. In 2024, Catherine Wong In broadened her repertoire with the THE FIRST TAKE collaboration "èè¡ è ç§å¸" and the single "é»è¨". In 2026, she released the album Sing Along with Her, featuring songs like "æ´¾å°å¾æ´¾å°" and "åç½åå ç天氣é å ±".
