Casey Chaos

Karim George Chmielinski, known professionally as Casey Chaos, was born on October 9, 1965, in Trenton, New York. He moved to Melbourne, Florida at age seven and began touring professionally as a skater by ten. In 1982, inspired by Black Flag, he formed the band Disorderly Conduct with bassist Scot Lade, drummer Bill Erwin, and guitarist Ken Decter. The band released their debut album Amen in 1986. In 1990, Chaos moved to Los Angeles and renamed the band Amen. They signed with Roadrunner Records in 1999, releasing their split EP with Misfits Coma America. In 2004, they released "California's Bleeding" under eatURMusic Records. Chaos also released a compilation box set titled Pisstory: A Catalogue of Accidents/A Lifetime of Mistakes in 2005. Chaos died from a heart attack on December 20, 2024.
