Carolina Ross

Carolina Ross was born on September 23, 1995, in Culiacán, Sinaloa, where her early passion for music and viral presence on social media laid the groundwork for her career. In 2013, she captured national attention as a semifinalist on La Voz México, where her expressive voice became widely recognized. Following the show, she began releasing her own music online, including her 2014 original single “Labios Tontos.” In 2018, she launched the ambitious Mis Covers project, issuing six volumes of cover albums that reimagined popular pop and ballad songs in her signature style and helped her amass a loyal digital following. Building on that momentum, in September 2021 she paid tribute to legendary singer Lupita D’Alessio with the mariachi album Mudanzas, which featured heartfelt renditions of seven iconic D’Alessio tracks. Her next album, Cuestión de Tiempo, arrived in 2022, followed by the single "La Llorona" later that year. Since then, she has embraced digital-era strategies by releasing multiple volumes of Mis Covers into 2025—Vol. 14, Vol. 15, and Vol. 16—delivering fresh interpretations for modern listeners and maintaining her presence across streaming platforms and social media.
