Carla, born Carla Lazzari on August 19, 2005, in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes, France, is a French singer. She began singing at age five, influenced by her musical parents. In 2018, she gained attention as a finalist on the fifth season of The Voice Kids, finishing fourth. Her breakthrough came in 2019 when she represented France at the Eurovision Junior with "Bim Bam toi", finishing fifth. Carla released her debut album L'Autre Moi on June 5, 2020, which included the single "L'Autre moi". She became the first French artist to receive a TikTok Gold for "Bim Bam toi", used in over one million videos. In 2021, she released her second album Sans Filtre on August 27, featuring singles like "Alors chut" and "Summer, Summer". Carla also collaborated with Fortnite, adding "Bim Bam toi" to the game. Her participation in Danse avec les stars (Season 12) in 2022 further expanded her reach, culminating in a second-place finish. She released two singles that year, "Déçue" and "Bye Bye", marking a shift towards a more mature musical style. In 2023, Carla performed at La Cigale, showcasing new material including "Joué". Her third album Mal d'Amour was released on June 6, 2025, continuing her evolution as an artist. The same year, she collaborated with the singer-songwriter Jeck for the album Oxygène, which reached number 19 on SNEP chart.
