Darryl Hill, known professionally as Cappadonna, was born on September 18, 1968, in New York City. He is an American rapper and a member of the hip-hop collective Wu-Tang Clan. Cappadonna's debut recording as a Wu-Tang affiliate was on Raekwon’s 1995 single "Ice Cream" from Only Built 4 Cuban Linx.... He made his first appearance on a Wu-Tang Clan album with "Triumph" from Wu-Tang Forever in 1997. Following a falling-out with RZA over royalties, Cappadonna did not appear on the group's subsequent album, Iron Flag. He reunited with the group for their concert at Rock the Bells in 2004 and appeared on the 2007 release 8 Diagrams, which marked his official membership in Wu-Tang Clan. His first solo effort, The Pillage (1998), debuted at Number three on the charts and was certified Gold. It was followed by The Yin and the Yang (2001) and The Struggle (2003). In 2004, Hill collaborated with the short-lived project Theodore Unit, which recorded the album 718. Numerous solo releases followed, including The Cappatalize Project (2007), The Pilgrimage (2011), Hook Off (2014), The Pillage 2 (2015), Ear Candy (2018), Black & Beautiful (2020), and Slow Motion (2022). Following collaborations with Stu Bangas for 3rd Chamber Grail Bars in 2022 and Shaka Amazulu the 7th for African Killa Beez on 2023, Cappadonna released The Man with the Iron Darts (2023), Fire & Brimstone (2024), Godly Wealthy & Beautiful (2025), and Solar Eclipse (2025).
