Candiria

Candiria, an American metal band from New York City, was formed in 1992 by vocalist Carley Coma, guitarists Chris Puma and Eric Matthews, and drummer Kenneth Schalk. In 1995, they released their debut album Surrealistic Madness, featuring singles "Temple of Sickness" and "Elevate in Madness". The band's lineup underwent several changes over the years. Notable subsequent albums include Beyond Reasonable Doubt (1997) and The Process of Self-Development (1999). In 2001, Candiria released 300 Percent Density under Century Media. The band faced a significant setback in 2002 when a tour bus accident seriously injured members John LaMacchia and Carley Coma. After a hiatus for recovery, they resumed touring and released What Doesn't Kill You… (2004).
