Burak Yeter

Turkish DJ, musician and producer Burak Yeter was born in Trabzon on May 5, 1982. After learning to play the piano and guitar as a child, he founded his first band in 1999 while studying sound engineering in London. He won the "MTV Burn & Best DJ Contest" in 2004 and went on to produce remixes for Depeche Mode, Black Eyed Peas, Alicia Keys, Usher, Bruno Mars, Sam Smith and Beyoncé. His first album For Action was released in 2005, followed two years later by For Message Vol. 2. In 2009, he founded his own label with studios in Istanbul, Amsterdam and Los Angeles. In 2010 and 2012, Burak Yeter won prizes for his remixes at the "Kral TV Music Awards" of the Turkish TV channel Kral TV, before his album Blue was released in 2012. His production "Tuesday", created in collaboration with singer Danelle Sandoval, was a Europe-wide chart hit at the end of 2016, reaching gold status in Austria, Belgium, France, Italy and Poland. The song is a cover version of the song of the same name by Drake and ILoveMakonnen from 2014. He also produces the title track "My Life is going on", which is used in the series House of Money. In 2022, he will take part in the San Marino preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest with the song "More Than You", which is a collaboration with the singer Alessandro Coli.
