Brunhilde

Brunhilde was founded in 2013 in Fürth, Germany. The band plays punk and alternative metal. It was founded by Caro Loy (vocals) and Kurt Bauereiß (guitar), who have been making music together since around 2010 and run their own Streetlife Studio. Oliver Holzwarth (bass) and Bastian Emig (drums) later joined the live and production line-up. Marisa Gruna has been part of the live line-up as bassist since mid-2024. The band released several studio albums: the debut Dollhouse in 2015, followed by Behind My Mind in 2017, the album To Cut a Long Story Short in 2021, the concept album 27 in 2022 and the new album In Love Yours Hate in 2025 (release: July 6, 2025 via the band's own label Count & Countess, distributed by SPV/Kontor New Media). The singles are mainly created as precursors to the albums: "Second Class" (2015), "SoulStrip" (2015), "Fake or Real" (2017), "If It Hurts" (2017), "When You Were Born (I Was Already Dead)" (2020), "Running Away" (2025) and "Go With The Flow" (May 29, 2025). Brunhilde plays an intense style that combines unadorned heaviness with great emotional impact. The music blends metal, punk and hard rock into a powerful expression, emphasized by Caro Löy's expressive voice and Kurt Bauereiß' striking guitar work - raw, direct, melodic and rebellious at the same time.
