BRUIT ≤

Bruit ≤ is a French experimental post-rock band from Toulouse, formed in 2016 by two former Kid Wise members, Clément Libes and Théophile Antolinos. Fusing noise rock, ambient electronica and instrumentation derived from classical music, the band completed by Luc Blanchot and Damien Gouzou, as well as occasionally Julien Aoufi, appeared in 2028 with a debut EP entitled Monolith and released by Elusive Sound. In 2019 follows the EP Apologie du Temps Perdu, Vol. 1 (Pelagic Records), followed by a tour supporting M83. Back in the studio, Bruit ≤ elaborates the album This Machine Is Burning and Now Everyone Knows It Could Happen Again (2021), blending organic instrumentation with electronic techniques of tape manipulation, collage and sampling. Its successor, The Age of Ephemerality (2025), was recorded in an old church in Toulouse.
