BOYSGROUP

BOYSGROUP was a Japanese idol boy band formed by WACK in 2022, comprising members Ryosei Rin, Shunji Haru, Ayuru Ryota, and later Hinata. The group emerged from WACK’s Project WACK‑Chin Audition and subsequent joint auditions, with the name Boysgroup officially adopted on December 7, 2022. Their debut studio album, We are Boysgroup, was released on January 18, 2023, followed by the single "Super Hero" on May 10, 2023. The group performed the Boysgroup 1st Oneman Tour, concluding with a final show at Esaka Muse in Osaka on May 14, 2023, when the group disbanded. Throughout its brief existence, Boysgroup charted on the Oricon Albums Chart, with We are Boysgroup reaching the top 20, and "Super Hero" attaining a peak position within the top 30 on the Oricon Singles Chart. The group’s concise discography and swift dissolution marked a notable, albeit short‑lived, chapter in contemporary J‑pop idol history.
