Boynextdoor is a South Korean boy band formed by KOZ Entertainment, a sub-label of Hybe established by rapper-producer Zico in 2019. The group consists of six members: Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak. On May 7, 2023, the group shared a tracklist for their debut album on social media, releasing pre-debut single "But I Like You" on May 23, followed by "One and Only" three days later. On May 30, their single album Who! was released, featuring third lead single, "Serenade," which was co-written by Jaehyun, Taesan, and Woonhak. Their first EP, Why.., was unveiled in September alongside its lead single "But Sometimes" making its debut at number 162 on the Billboard 200, and certified double platinum. On April 15, 2024, they released their second EP, How?, along with the single "Earth, Wind & Fire," which landed them at Number 1 on both the Korean and Japanese charts. On July 10, 2024, the group made their Japan debut with the maxi single titled "And," which includes Japanese versions of some of their previous tracks and the new original song "Good Day" sung in Japanese. The single was well-received, landing the band their third number one spot on the Oricon Daily Single Ranking for July 10. The group released another EP 19.99 on September 9, 2024, with the pre-release single "Dangerous". In late 2024, BoyNextDoor launched their first world tour, Knock On Vol.1, beginning with two shows at Inspire Arena in Incheon. During the tour, they released their digital single "If I Say, I Love You" on January 6, 2025. On March 14, they followed up with the promotional single "Never Loved This Way Before", a remake of Cheeze's 2021 track, featured on the OST of the webtoon Odd Girl Out. On May 13, the group released their fourth EP No Genre, led by the title track "I Feel Good" and supported by "If I Say, I Love You".
