BOYdPOD is a distinguished Thai R&B duo comprising Boyd Kosiyabong, an influential songwriter and producer, and Thanachai "Pod" Ujjin, the acclaimed lead vocalist of Modern Dog. Boyd Kosiyabong, born Cheewin Kosiyabong in Bangkok in 1967, is a pivotal figure in Thai music. A graduate of UCLA in songwriting and electronic music, he co-founded the indie label Bakery Music in 1994, which played a significant role in shaping Thailand's modern pop and R&B scenes. His compositions, such as "Seasons Change" (1995), have become classics. Pod Thanachai Ujjin, as the frontman of Modern Dog, helped pioneer Thailand's alternative rock movement in the 1990s. The band's experimental sound and energetic performances earned them a devoted following and critical acclaim. In 2008, Boyd and Pod collaborated on the album Bittersweet, blending pop and soul influences. After a hiatus, they reunited in 2024 to release BOYdPOD//OST, a project inspired by 1980s Thai cinema, featuring the popular single "Loey." In 2025, they released the EP BOYdPOD // OST. Side A and a collaboration single "I'm OK // Not OK (Headphones Version)" with Bilkin.
