Boozoo Bajou

Boozoo Bajou, a German musical duo consisting of Peter Heider and Florian Seyberth from Nuremberg, formed in 2000. Their music blends elements of downbeat/lounge, dub, blues, jazz, soul, and funk. Boozoo Bajou's breakthrough came with their debut album Satta, released on June 19, 2001, which sold approximately 70,000 copies worldwide. The album featured tracks widely used in television and radio, including the song "Night Over Manaus", which appeared in a Martini TV commercial featuring George Clooney in 2006. Following this success, Boozoo Bajou created remixes for artists such as Common, Mary J. Blige, Mousse T., Henry Mancini, Nelly Furtado, and Richard Dorfmeister's project Tosca. In 2005, the duo won the European Tournee Support award from the European Union, which provided financial support for their tours.
