Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora, often abbreviated as BokuAo, is a Japanese girl group formed in 2023 under Avex Trax and managed by Ligareaz Management. The group was produced by record producer Yasushi Akimoto and officially labeled as an "official rival" of the girl group Nogizaka46, also produced by Akimoto. Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora was announced on June 15, 2023, following a series of auditions that began in February of the same year. The group debuted with the single "Aozora ni Tsuite Kangaeru" on August 30, 2023. Their first concert, Boku ga Mitakatta One Man Live Vol. 0, was held at New Pier Hall, Tokyo on December 19, 2023. The group received the New Artist Award and was nominated for Best New Artist Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards. In January 2024, Boku ga Mitakatta Aozora released their second single "Sotsugyō made", which topped the Billboard Japan Top Singles Sales chart and reached Number 2 on the Oricon Singles Chart. The group continued to release successful singles, including "Spare no Nai Koi" in August 2024, "Suki Sugite Up and Down" in November 2024, and "Koi wa Baisoku" in March 2025.
