Evan Bartholomew, known professionally as Bluetech, is an American electronic music producer born on October 19, 1973. Hailing from California, USA, he began his career in the late 1990s and early 2000s, releasing a series of digital singles that gained him recognition within the electronic music scene. His debut album Lead Into Gold was released in 1999, marking a significant milestone in his career. Bluetech's work is characterized by its blend of ambient, downtempo, and world music influences. Following this, Bluetech released several albums including Prima Materia (2003), Sines and Singularities (2005), Phoenix Rising (2008), Love Song to the Source (2010), Rainforest Reverberation (2011), Dreaming Into Being (2013), and Behind the Sky with In the Branches (2018). He followed up with Liquid Geometries (2018), Sci-Fi Lullabies (2019), and Holotrope (2019). In 2020, he collaborated with Shaman's Dream on Prana Pulse and with Steve Moore on Liminal Migration in 2021. Subsequent releases include Octopod Metropolis in 2022 and Petite Constellations in 2026.
