Blitzkid, an American horror punk band from Bluefield, Virginia, was formed in 1997 by Argyle Goolsby and T.B. Monstrosity. Initially a hobby for creating soundtracks while skateboarding, the duo evolved into a serious musical project with a focus on macabre imagery and horror film influences. Their first album, Let Flowers Die, was released in 2001, marking their entry into the horror punk genre. Blitzkid gained significant traction in Europe, performing at numerous festivals, including Summer Breeze Open Air in Germany and M'era Luna Festival. They collaborated with notable acts such as The Damned and Face to Face, and released several albums, including the compilation Anatomy of Resuscitation (2008) and Apparitional (2011). In 2012, following a farewell tour across Europe and Russia, Blitzkid disbanded. Argyle Goolsby pursued a solo career with The Roving Midnight, while T.B. Monstrosity joined Vagora.
