Blæst

Blæst, a Danish pop band formed in 2019, consists of Sarah Sofie Malmros on lead vocals, Lauge Kjærulf on drums, Valentin Buchwald on bass and synthesizers, and Anders Bondo on guitar. The band's origins trace back to Næstved, Denmark, where Kjærulf and Buchwald met at a music school when they were eight and nine years old. They initiated Blæst out of a desire to create Danish-language pop music, eventually finding vocalist Fernanda Rosa through SoundCloud. Their first single "Du gør det bedre" was released in October 2019, followed by their debut extended play Vindstille in May 2020 under We Are Suburban. The band's breakthrough came with the release of "Juice" in February 2022, which won P3 Lytterhittet at the P3 Guld 2022 for being the most played song on DR P3. They performed at the Roskilde Festival in June 2022 and released their debut studio album Stiv kuling in September of the same year, which received favorable reviews. Despite canceling a planned tour due to stress, Blæst continued with notable performances, including at the X Factor finale in March 2023 and opening for the Orange Stage at the Roskilde Festival in June 2023. They followed with album Dinne Venner (2024), and singles "Elsker Dig Så Meget" and " Vi ku' gå hele vejen" in 2025.
