Black Gene For the Next Scene

Black Gene For the Next Scene is a Japanese visual-kei band formed in the summer of 2011, led by former Vidol member Rame (June 11, from Osaka). The members of the band consisted of Ice (December 20, from Shizuoka Prefecture), Koku (October 21, from Kanagawa Prefecture), Lame, and SAN (October 11, from Osaka Prefecture), who joined the band later. On March 20, 2013, the group released its best-known single , "Sakura Ran Trance Destiny," which was followed by the release of its second single, "Cherry Blossom Trance Destiny" on March 20, 2013. was released on March 20, 2013. The song blends the band's quintessential danceable rhythms with Japanese melodies, and was highly popular as a staple in their live performances. Since their inception at Shibuya Star Lounge, the band has been performing live with overwhelming passion throughout Japan, and after a change of members in 2015, they continued to evolve, but ceased their activities after their April 10, 2016 performance at Ebisu LIQUIDROOM.
