Xavier Landum, born Mayâ¯12â¯1998 in Dallas, Texas, is an American rapper who adopted the stage name BigXthaPlug. Growing up in a challenging environment, he began writing rap lyrics while incarcerated, turning his early confinement into a creative outlet. In 2021 he released the single "Mr.Trouble", followed by "Big Stepper" the same year, which helped him gain initial traction within the Southern hipâhop scene. In 2022 he signed with UnitedMasters and issued the EP Big Stepper, later reâreleased on Augustâ¯26, 2022, and launched the single "Texas", which was certified Gold by the RIAA. His debut studio album Amar was released Februaryâ¯10,â¯2023, achieving Platinum status; the title track "Texas" reached the Billboard Hotâ¯100, peaking at number sixtyâfive after a remix with Finesse2tymes. In 2023 he released the EP The Biggest, featuring the single "Mmhmm", which entered the Hotâ¯100 at number ninetyâthree and later climbed to number sixtyâfive. He continued with the album The Biggest on Decemberâ¯1,â¯2023, and the single "Take Care" on Octoberâ¯11,â¯2024, both attaining Gold certification. In 2025 he released I Hope You're Happy and its deluxe edition, followed by the mixtape 6WA on Marchâ¯20,â¯2026, under his own label 600 Entertainment. Throughout his career, BigXthaPlug has maintained a consistent presence in the rap genre, securing multiple RIAA certifications and contributing to the evolving Southern hipâhop landscape.
