Benson Boone

Benson Boone, born in Monroe, Washington (June 25, 2002) is an American singer-songwriter who jumped into the public eye after participating in the nineteenth season of the reality music competition American Idol. He auditioned for the show after just one year of singing and won a golden ticket to Hollywood, but decided to step down at the last minute. His involvement in American Idol helped the young singer kickstart his career and cultivate a massive fan base on social media, accumulating millions of followers in a relatively short period of time. After signing with Warner Records, Benson Boone made his official debut with the piano-driven ballad “Ghost Town,” which entered the Billboard Hot 100 at number 100. The track proved hugely successful in Scandinavia, breaking into the Top 10 in Denmark and achieving pole position in Norway. It was also included in Benson Boone's debut EP Walk Me Home..., released in July 2022. A second EP titled Pulse came out in 2023. His single "Beautiful Things," released in 2024, reached number 1 in Canada and Norway while also landing in the Top 10 in the US, Australia, and the UK. Following the hit "Slow It Down" (number 32), was released in April 2024 the debut album Fireworks & Rollerblades who reached the sixth place on Billboard 200 (number 1 in Norway, number 5 in Canada, number 7 in France, and number 16 in UK), and got multiple certified platinum records. Subsequent singles "Pretty Slowly", "Sorry I'm Here for Someone Else", "Mystical Magical", and "Momma Song" followed, before the release of the sophomore album American Heart (2025).
